Finnigan's Catch

The best thing about computers is that even though we're all so far away from each other we can keep in touch with just a touch of a button...

This is what my two favourite wee boys did:

Finnie had an AMAZING time at Hawea ..look at this little fisherman..

Here he is with 2 Salmon, no less & his Dad tells me Finn caught the BIG ONE!

Eat your hearts out Nick & David, you never managed such a catch! But perhaps Finn will help you out & give you some pointers on your next visit home.

Well done Finnie!!!

This is what wee JR did... ( taken from Dora's blog )

1. Sprouted a little tooth on his bottom gum

2. Pulled himself to standing in his cot, and against various pieces of furniture

3. Started babbling and talking throughout the day - he can say "dadada", "tatata", "mamama", "gagaga", "wawawa", "bababa", and he uses these interchangeably throughout the day. From once a silent baby, he is now a regular little talk show host wannabe. This happened almost overnight!

4. Become a lot more personable and is more interested in other humans

!5. Developed leg muscles in a big way! He walked on the entire balance beam at Gymboree (while supported by Granddad), and can even stand by himself for a heart-stopping moment in the bath.

D&D also took JR on his first "overseas" holiday to Malacca...( I am sure he would have had to use his Passport here & can't wait to see the stamp ) Finn, Malacca is in Malaysia - see if it's on your globe.

D&D also took JR to Singapore's famous ZOO. It was such a HIT they stayed for 5 hours!!! He Loved it so much his Mum & Dad are going to buy a Family Yearly Pass. Hey Finnie, you & me will go there with him one day eh. Bet he didn't go into the BIG BLACK BAT part!

And hey Finnie: Wee JR can't catch the BIG ONE yet eh...so much to look forward to. You will show your wee cousie how Southern Man does the big outdoors one day soon!

P.S. Tell your Mum that her wee Great Nephew LOVES shopping & always has his eye out for a bargain!

WOW Finnegan !
Unk fisherman here has never caught such big ones at your age. Yes, I was already fishing as a kid in the sea and rivers but never caught such big ones.
On my next visit..Finnegan will be my Salmon coach!

Mum is right, all my fishing trips usually amounted to naught and the only fish Nick and I ever brought home were deep fried and came with one scoop of chips and a pineapple ring. So good one fisherman Finn.
