Leading up to our much needed long Easter Break was bleak...cold chilly mornings when we are reminded that winter is not too far away...3deg some mornings already, so I was prepared for a DVD/book weekend...maybe cleaning out cupboards, that sort of thing, but wakening on Good Friday...Suprise Suprise...a reprieve. It was BEAUTIFUL. Very blue clear as only Dunedin can be. A wee walk around the block to the Gardens to catch the magic of the day, and to maybe get inspitation to do my big garden clean up that is much needed before winter sets in hard.
The colours are beautiful & the inspitation came...I was up at daybreak this morning and into the garden & wondering about which bulbs might be best to bed down for Springtime.After 3 hours of hard digging & clearing it was great to spend the rest of the day shopping and lunching with Celia, after all it is a Holiday and there's still another day tomorrow...( if the weather holds!)
